Global Roll-out of Volvo CE Advance at Stanford University

Reading Time: < 1 minute Supporting the construction workers of both current and future construction sites has been the topic of the global product development challenge posed to seven final-year MSc students from BTH and Stanford University. In their capstone project ME310, which runs from November to June, they move in a Design Thinking process through phases of needfinding, ideation, prototyping and more to arrive at a final detail designed product to display at the final exhibition, EXPE, at Stanford University.

Reading Time: < 1 minute Studenterna i årskurs två har under vårterminen jobbat med en mekatronisk utmaning där uppgiften var att konstruera, bygga och programmera en autonom robot. Årets utmaning i projektkursen MT1458 fokuserade på samarbete, roboten skulle lösa en given uppgift så bra som möjligt genom att samarbeta med en robot konstruerad av en annan grupp studenter.

Innovativ och Hållbar Produktutveckling i mål

Reading Time: < 1 minute Tisdag 16 januari presenterade studenterna i årskurs 3 på maskinteknikprogrammen resultaten av sina produktutvecklingsprojekt genomförda i samverkan med olika industripartners. Eventet organiserasades i form av en mässa där studenterna demonstrerade prototyper och presenterade sina resultat och processen dit för intresserade besökare.

50.000 kr – Ellen Ottosson för arbetet “Framtagning av verktyg för integrering av Hållbar Utveckling: En explorativ studie kring hur hållbarhet kan integreras i Semcons projektprocess”. Handledare vid BTH Maskinteknik var Christian Johansson.
